  Make sure you get your tv from them within a day of leaving it there, or they will pack up you tv and ship it to Mexico! Sounds crazy right... Hahaha Yeah I thought that as well, but it's true! We left our tv to get repaired and they didn't contact us for about a month, and they had stripped it for parts and sent the rest to Mexico, with-out our consent. Very bad busness technique. Use someone else.

  Called the phone number; went to voice mail. Hal called back with 2 hours. Told him problem with LG 42" flat TV. He said he could look at it and arranged for me to drop it off. Charge for checking the unit was $45; very reasonable, I thought. Dropped it off the next day at appointed time and place. He took picture of deposit and TV serial number and emailed it to me as a receipt; quick and paperless. He said he could check the TV within the next couple of days and get back to me. He emailed me the following day with the bad news. The input/output board was bad and would require changing out the entire board, not just a component. At a cost of $162 for the board plus labor I opted to not repair the TV (new TV from Best Buy was more economical at that point), which Hal totally agreed with. He delivered the TV to my house the next day. I had thought to donate it to Goodwill only to find out they no longer accepted broken TVs. Hal did mention that sometimes you can bake the board and it will somehow address the problem by correcting a bad connection. We thought to try that but one of the board components came off while we were removing it and we gave up on doing that. So it goes in the trash. I found Hal to be a good communicator, did what he said he was going to do, and professional in his approach.

  Hal was awesome to work with! He was able to meet me at home, work, or on the go, which was a life saver with kids. The diagnosis and repair only took a few days. The TV is back and as good as new. Highly recommended!
